We are intimately familiar with the hazards existing on a construction site and take every precaution to create safe working conditions.

Employing experienced craftsman
In-depth safety orientation for all hires, including
- Back injury prevention
- Protection against falls
- Hazard communications
- Ladder & stairway safety (precautions)
- Electrical safety (precautions)
- Respiratory protection
- Personal protection equipment
- Customer awareness (we make sure all people living & working around the construction are informed about necessary precautions)
Field supervisory orientation for foreman, superintendents, and project managers, including:
- Hazard assessment
- Risk assessment
Weekly safety surveys
Foreman conduct weekly ‘Tool Box Talks’ (to reinforce safety on-site and to share job related issues)
OSHA construction outreach training
National Safety Council certified defensive driving course
American Red Cross first aid and CPR courses
Bob Cat, Forklift, Scat Track training
Regular field safety inspections
Unannounced jobsite inspections by the Safety Director
All employees are required to pass pulmonary function testing and fit testing for respirator use.
Zero percent tolerance of substance abuse is our policy.
Risk Management
Site inspections are conducted with owner and tenants to alleviate any questionable site conditions that may affect our work.
Our Safety Director consistently assures safe construction sites. His credentials include:
10 years as Safety Director
Supervisor Training in Accident Reduction Techniques (S.T.A.R.T. program)
SIA Instructor, certified for ‘Competent Person Training’ for welded frame, tube & coupler systems, scaffolding and hazard awareness
Active member of:
- Scaffold Industry Association (SIA)
- Serves a co-chair for Swing Stage Scaffold Committees
- Assistant instructor for Swing Stage Scaffolding classes
- Aerial Platform Committee member
